Hybrid solar street lights
In some projects, such as the one carried out at the Bilbao City Council, due to the site requirements or project specifications, there is a need for solar streetlights to be supported by the electrical grid during periods when solar radiation is not sufficient (long periods of cloudy days, rain, etc.) to ensure the area remains illuminated. In these types of projects, hybrid components are incorporated, allowing for dual use of solar power and the electrical grid when necessary.
